Katie's Back was founded in 2004 by Katie Choo as a small, independent Thermal Bed Massage Studio. Not long before, Katie had discovered Thermal Bed Massage through her doctor in Phoenix, Arizona. Her doctor had recommend treatments for Katie to relieve the enormous of stress which has built up after her husband passed away.
Naturally, Katie found the treatments incredibly relaxing and incredibly similar to a deep hands-on massage. The first week Katie had three treatments, and then continued them once each week for the next 18 months. "After that first week, the stiffness was gone and I was more flexible."
When Katie moved back to New Hampshire, she decided to turn her positive Thermal Bed Massage experience into a business - one through which she could help others melt-away stress, find deep relaxation and loosen stiff, sore back muscles.
Today, Katie's Back has moved from its original location to a larger, more private studio What began as opportunity to help others relax has become a busy enterprise. As the only Thermal Bed Massage Studio in the USA, Katie fields inquiries regularly for franchising opportunities. For now, Katie is focused spreading word of her company and the benefits of Thermal Bed Massage through New Hampshire.
